JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN - CHOOSE HIM TODAY!
According to some estimates, there are more than 4,000 religions in the world. Some religious teachers believe that all religions lead to salvation and eternal life in Heaven with God. They teach that mankind’s relationship with God is like spokes in a wagon wheel where the center hub of the wheel is God and the spokes that lead to the hub are the religions of the world. This teaching could not be farther from the truth. There is only ONE way to be saved. Jesus is the Way!
God loves each and every person so much that He devised a plan for our salvation from sin so that we can have a relationship and eternal life with Him. Salvation comes through God's Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible explains that "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16. Jesus, who is God incarnate, is the only person to have lived without committing one single sin. Jesus willingly gave up His life by dying on a cross for our sins. Though his death, Jesus took the punishment we deserve and through his shed divine blood, our sins are washed away. After three days, Jesus conquered death and sin when he came back to life! Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying." John 11:25 NLT. That means that after we die we will live eternally with Christ if we believe on Jesus Christ and are saved.
All religions and beliefs do not lead to eternal life. Unfortunately, most of them lead to eternal damnation. Jesus said, "I am the bread of life" (John 6:35), and "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Jesus is the only way to be saved because He is the only one who has paid the penalty for our sins. No other religion provides the payment and forgiveness of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. The Bible says, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Therefore, faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. All other religions are false and will lead to eternal damnation.
If you are ready to choose Jesus today as your Lord and Savior, here is what you must do to be saved.
Believe
The first step in receiving salvation is to believe in Jesus Christ. You must truly believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died for the sins of all people. Jesus was buried and rose from the grave on the third day in order that our sins may be forgiven. Now Jesus sits on the throne waiting for sinners to repent so that He can save them and welcome them into his family. You must believe on Jesus to be saved. Jesus said, "Whosever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." John 11:26. The Bible also says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shall be saved." Acts 16:31.
Repent
If you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for the remission of your sins, the next step in receiving salvation is true repentance. You must be truly sorry for all the sins you have committed and you must admit that you need Christ. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. Romans 3:23. True repentance involves taking personal responsibility for your sins and promising to forsake them. It also means that you embrace a life of holy living for God. One who truly repents believes that God is ready and willing to forgive us for all the sins we have committed. Once you truly repent, you will receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God sent to dwell in our soul. It will lead and guide us into all truth by the Word of God – the Bible. The Holy Spirit is promised to us if we sincerely ask for it and if we truly believe.
Are you ready to choose Jesus and eternal life with him? After receiving this invitation, please do not harden your heart or say that you have plenty of time to give your life to Jesus. What if tomorrow never comes? Where will you spend eternity? Come to Christ today while Jesus is still standing at the door of your heart.
Pray
If you are ready, say the following prayer, and truly mean it with all of your heart, mind, body and soul:
Lord, Jesus. I love you for dying for me. I know you can save me, cleanse me, wash me, and prepare me for eternal life with you. Lord Jesus, I trust in the merits of your Holy precious blood shed to wash away my sin today. Jesus, be my savior. Jesus, come into my heart right now. Amen.
